We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Learning & Development to support organisational learning and development initiatives. You will be instrumental in seeking innovative ways to enhance employees learning experiences, managing the end-to-end L&D programme lifecycle at a company-wide level, ensuring staff have the skills to perform effectively and achieve their full potential.
You must be able to deliver and support industry skills development and Continuing Education and Training (CET) initiatives in the performing arts. You will work closely with the Assistant Head, Human Resources, and the departments ensuring exceptional service to staff and reflecting our organisational values.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, coordinate and deliver L&D Programmes for Staff including conducting Learning Needs Analysis to identify training priorities.
- Support the Assistant Head, HR in developing and implementing the Total Company Training Plan.
- Design, develop, implement, and facilitate in-house programmes, incorporating blended learning approaches.
- Source and assess external learning solutions, including exchanges and learning journeys. Evaluate programme effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Administer and coordinate in-house and external training programmes.
- Maximise training funds by identifying and applying for applicable grants in a timely manner.
- Ensure submission of enterprise grants and claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with funding guidelines.
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure timely reporting of relevant data using existing platforms.
- Ensure compliance with organisational processes, procurement requirements, and audit standards.
- Assist to review requests for learning journeys, coordinate and obtain approval to facilitate the learning journeys.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- A recognised university degree or diploma in Human Resources/Learning & Development.
- Relevant adult learning certifications (e.g., ACLP/ACTA, DACE/DDDLP) will be an advantage.
- Able to effectively facilitate learning and development initiatives.
- At least 4 years of relevant working experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively work with internal and external stakeholders.
- Commitment to supporting and promoting organisational values through learning initiatives.
- Salary range: $4,300 - $5,000
