Assistant Manager, Insurance Consulting - (IT / Digital Transformation)

My client, a Global Consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Assistant Consulting Manager to drive business development, lead transformation projects, and strengthen their presence within the insurance industry. This role blends consulting delivery, market development, and team leadership-ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and is passionate about helping insurers innovate and grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead 360 business analysis on client engagements, including requirements gathering, current-state assessment, gap analysis, and solution design

  • Drive delivery of functional specifications, process maps, user stories, and other project needs

  • Lead and deliver business and IT consulting projects within the insurance industry, ensuring high-quality execution and strong client satisfaction.

  • Build and enhance market research methodologies, assets, and capabilities to support strategic insights and project delivery.

  • Support and guide clients through digital and operational transformation, translating business needs into outcomes

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 6 years of professional experience minimum 3 years in a consulting firm.

  • Experience in top-tier or professional consulting environments is highly preferred.

  • Strong expertise in managing full lifecycle consulting projects within the insurance industry.

  • Well-established network and connections within the insurance sector.

  • Deep understanding of insurance business models, markets, and key transformation areas-including market entry, business case development, and operational or digital transformation.

  • Experience in digital or business transformation, technology implementation, growth strategy, or IT strategy is an advantage.

  • Strong consulting toolkit: structured documentation, polished presentation skills, critical and logical thinking, and strong stakeholder management.

  • Proven track record of successful project delivery in insurance consulting.

  • Confident in presenting, negotiating, and influencing senior stakeholders.

  • Self-driven, analytical, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently with an ownership mindset.
