Key Responsibilities
- Act as the custodian of the company's Code of Conduct and internal disciplinary framework
- Manage employee relations matters, including grievance handling and conflict resolution
- Lead and conduct investigations into employee grievances and misconduct cases
- Monitor developments in the employment landscape to ensure compliance with local labour laws and fair employment practices
- Partner closely with in-house unions to maintain strong labour-management relations, including collective bargaining and change management initiatives
- Leverage data and insights to provide practical, balanced solutions for complex employee issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a recognised university
- Relevant experience in employment-related matters, with a strong understanding of local labour laws (e.g. Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, Trade Unions Act)
- Prior experience in employee relations, investigations, grievance handling, or union engagement will be advantageous
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to assess situations from multiple perspectives and analyse data effectively
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to engage stakeholders across all levels, including senior management and union representatives
- Demonstrates emotional maturity, integrity, and sound judgement
- Resourceful, independent, and solutions-oriented
- Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors HR system is a plus
