The Assistant Manager position will support the Institute's mission to drive pedagogical innovation, promote authentic learning, uphold academic integrity, and advance excellence in teaching and learning at NTU.
This role supports the development and integration of innovative education technologies-including 3D visualisation, AI-enhanced tools, and AR/VR/XR content-into NTU courses. The position works closely with faculty to design impactful learning experiences, develop prototypes, and ensure smooth adoption of emerging technologies in teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate emerging education technologies that can enhance learning across disciplines.
Co-design and develop 3D visualisation tools, AI-enabled learning features, and immersive AR/VR/XR/360 content.
Develop prototype educational applications that can be adapted for different courses.
Conduct small-scale studies to assess learning effectiveness and inform EdTech integration.
Develop workflows and guidelines to support systematic adoption of new technologies.
Collaborate with faculty and provide guidance on effective use of technology in teaching.
Work with administrative and technical units (e.g., cybersecurity, legal) to ensure compliance and smooth deployment.
Support communications, documentation, and reporting related to education technology initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education Technology, Computer Science, Digital Media, Engineering, Interactive Media, or related areas).
Experience in at least one of the following: AR/VR/XR production, 3D visualisation, AI-enabled applications, or digital content development.
Ability to work with faculty and stakeholders to translate teaching needs into practical technological solutions.
5 years experience working in an IHL.
Strong interest in emerging technologies and willingness to learn new tools.
Good communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
Experience with learning technologies, multimedia development, or prototyping is an advantage.
Knowledge of cybersecurity, data privacy, or ethical considerations in educational settings is beneficial.
