About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant Manager, HSE, Facilities & Administration to support the organization's Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Facilities Management, Asset Governance, and Workplace Administration functions.
This role is critical in ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient workplace environment while driving operational excellence, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business. The successful candidate will also support regional HSE initiatives across the Asia Pacific region when required.
Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Governance & Compliance
Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the company's HSE management framework.
Develop and coordinate HSE programmes, policies, procedures, training, and awareness initiatives.
Drive workplace safety culture and employee engagement activities.
Ensure compliance with corporate standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Support internal and external HSE audits and compliance reviews.
HSE Risk Management, Emergency Preparedness & Business Continuity
Conduct and coordinate workplace risk assessments, safety inspections, and HSE audits.
Track and monitor corrective and preventive actions arising from audits, inspections, and incidents.
Support incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and follow-up actions.
Coordinate emergency response plans, evacuation drills, crisis management exercises, and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) activities.
Promote proactive risk mitigation and workplace safety improvements.
Facilities & Asset Management
Manage workplace facilities and company assets to ensure smooth business operations.
Coordinate maintenance works, repairs, security services, cleaning services, and workplace enhancements.
Oversee asset lifecycle management, inventory control, and asset record accuracy.
Manage external vendors and service providers to ensure service quality and contractual compliance.
Support office renovation, relocation, and facility improvement projects.
Administration & Operational Support
Manage day-to-day administration and workplace support services.
Support budgeting, procurement activities, and vendor management processes.
Prepare operational, HSE, and management reports.
Identify and implement process improvements, cost optimisation, and operational efficiency initiatives.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure high service standards and operational effectiveness.
Job Requirements
Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HSE, facilities management, workplace operations, administration, corporate governance, or related functions.
Knowledge of workplace safety regulations, risk management practices, emergency preparedness, facilities operations, and vendor management.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects effectively.
Communication, problem-solving, organisational, and reporting skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Professional certifications such as WSH Officer, bizSAFE, ISO 45001 Internal/Lead Auditor, or other related certifications.
Experience supporting regional or multi-site operations would be advantageous.
Additional Information
Salary: SGD 5,800 - 6,300 per month
1 year contract
