We are seeking a motivated Assistant Manager to support the Department Manager in leading daily operations, driving team performance, and ensuring outstanding service delivery. This is a hands-on leadership role perfect for a proactive individual ready to take the next step in their management career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, offboarding.
- Administer payroll processing accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with CPF, IRAS (IR8A), and MOM regulations (e.g., leave, childcare leave).
- Maintain and update employee P-files (hard & soft copies) and HR systems.
- Handle work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations.
- Support performance management and annual appraisal cycles.
- Perform day-to-day accounting operations: AP, AR, GL maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
- Handle monthly closing, prepare financial schedules, and assist in year-end audit.
- Oversee general office administration and procurement.
Job Requirements :
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or Human Resource Management.
- At least 4-6 years of solid, hands-on experience in a combined HR & Accounts role, preferably within an SME or holding company environment.
- Meticulous, highly organized, and able to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with staff at all levels and external partners.
- Independent, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
