Role Description The Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore, responsible for supporting daily restaurant operations and delivering an excellent guest experience. This role oversees front-of-house service, coordinates staff scheduling, and ensures that health, safety, and quality standards are consistently met. The Assistant Manager helps train and coach team members, supports inventory and stock management, and assists with cash handling and basic administrative tasks. The role also involves resolving guest inquiries, maintaining a welcoming environment, and collaborating with the Manager to implement operational improvements and promotions aligned with Glow Food's mission.
Qualifications
- Operational and leadership skills: experience in food and beverage or retail operations, team supervision, shift management, and staff training.
- Customer service and communication skills: ability to engage guests professionally, handle feedback, and communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills: competence in coordinating schedules, managing inventory, and addressing operational issues calmly and efficiently.
- Health, safety, and quality focus: understanding of food safety standards, cleanliness procedures, and commitment to maintaining high service and product quality.
- Beneficial qualifications: prior experience in fast-casual or plant-based concepts, familiarity with point-of-sale systems, and basic proficiency with office software.
