Assistant Manager, Global Mobility (1 Year Renewable Contract)

Overview

Kerry Consulting is partnering with a leading organisation to appoint an Assistant Manager, Global Mobility. This Singapore-based role will support international assignments and relocations across multiple locations, ensuring a consistent employee experience and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Role

You will coordinate mobility activities across the pre-assignment, active-assignment and repatriation stages, serving as the first point of contact for assignees, home HR and host HR on mobility policies, allowances, documentation and processes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating international assignments, permanent transfers and relocations.
  • Liaising with immigration, tax and relocation service providers.
  • Tracking assignment documentation, immigration status, compliance requirements and key milestones.
  • Reviewing mobility-related invoices and coordinating intercompany cost allocation.
  • Maintaining accurate mobility records and supporting audit and compliance requirements.
  • Generating mobility reports, metrics and cost analysis for management.
  • Resolving assignment and relocation issues while providing a positive employee experience.
  • Supporting mobility systems, workflow automation and process-improvement initiatives.
  • Identifying process gaps and recommending practical solutions or alternative approaches.
  • Ensuring adherence to Singapore regulations, international mobility requirements and internal policies.

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
  • At least three to five years of relevant Global Mobility experience.
  • Hands-on experience coordinating international assignments and employee relocations.
  • Good understanding of assignment policies, allowances, immigration, expatriate tax and mobility compliance.
  • Experience working with assignees, HR Business Partners, home and host HR teams, Finance and external mobility providers.
  • Familiarity with mobility case-management platforms, vendor systems or HRIS tools.
  • Strong Excel, reporting and data-management capabilities.
  • Meticulous and organised, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder-management and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Singapore immigration and employment requirements is preferred.
