Job Description

This Role will be responsible for managing all things related to: Planning, Procurement, Product Transformation and Financial Performance Management for the Central Processing Unit (CPU).

He/she will collaborate very closely with his/her peers for the three focus areas of the CPU 1) Fish & Seafood, 2) Fruits & Vegetables, 3) Poultry.

This role will report to the Head of the CPU. He/She will be focusing on:

  • Operational KPIs such as: Fulfillment on time, Yield/Shrinkage, Cost for unit of transformation
  • Assisting in continuous improvement work relating to system, process engineering and optimisation, data analysis and reporting, etc
  • Assist in tracking Financial targets /Financial KPIs (P/L ownership for operations) and relevant gaps relating to KPI and/or other operational matters.
  • All administrative functions related to production operations, such as inventory management, CPU stock and non-merchandise replenishment

In addition to the above he/she will also be involved in the BAU functions by ensuring Process compliance, analysis of data (transactional, KPI, etc.)

He/she works with/leads a small team of associates who will be responsible for: Planning, management of Inventory and production transactions in relevant systems, store order fulfillment capturing, etc. The team will report to him/her with regards to process compliance, improvement and Analysis of the Data, whereas the team will work closely with the respective production leads for every BAU topics such as issue, specific transaction, coordination, issue resolution and other BAU matters.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree or equivalent in Business Management, Process Engineering, Finance and/ or other relevant field with industry experience
  • Relevant work experience in Planning, Product Transformation, Operations Management or other relevant positions
  • Good understanding of Systems including SAP
  • Good understanding of Budgeting, Cost Analysis, Operations and/or Logistics Management principles, inventory flows and movements
  • Experience in the Food Processing will be an added advantage
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills
