About the Charity

Limitless is a charity (IPC) that provides accessible mental health services, intervention, and outreach to youths in Singapore. It serves young people struggling from a range of mental health challenges ranging from distress to complex mental illnesses and suicidal ideation, providing easy access to care.

As an Assistant Manager, Finance & IT, you will play a crucial role in managing financial and IT operations at Limitless, ensuring strategic decisions to ensure the company's financial health and IT sustainability.

Financial Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning, Reporting and Analysis: Prepare budgets, forecasts, financial statements, and annual financial reports to support business decisions while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Cash Flow management: Monitoring cash flow statements, ensuring LIMITLESS has sufficient cash flow to meet its operational needs.
  • Cost Management: Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing strategies to reduce expenses.
  • Risk Management: Evaluating and managing financial risks to protect the organization's assets.
  • Governance and Compliance: Lead financial audits and submit timely reports to authorities, reviewing and recommending improvements to internal control on finance policies, ensuring compliance with Charity Accounting Standards (CAS).

IT Responsibilities

  • IT Strategy and Planning: Developing and implementing IT strategies that aligned with Limitless's goals.
  • System Management: Overseeing the maintenance and upgrade of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Cybersecurity: Ensuring the security of Limitless's IT systems and data.
  • IT Support: Providing support and troubleshooting for IT-related issues.
  • Project Management: Leading IT projects, from planning to execution, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

You will manage relationships with external vendors and service providers for financial and IT functions, and ensure all operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Your role includes engaging with Board Directors, the Finance and Audit Committees, auditors, financial institutions, corporate donors, vendors, and government agencies to support Board governance, corporate secretariat, and senior management matters. You will also assist with other duties assigned by the Deputy Executive Director as required.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, audit, or IT operations, preferably within the social service, charity, or non-profit sector.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, audit processes, and internal controls, with familiarity in Charity Accounting Standards (CAS) and regulatory compliance in Singapore.
  • Experience in IT systems administration, cybersecurity practices, vendor management, and digital project implementation will be an advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to work with senior management, Board Committees, auditors, financial institutions, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality, with sound governance awareness.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and financial or IT management systems.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports and present information clearly.
  • Candidates with knowledge of advanced IT or digital tools, business analytics, HR methodologies, or AI and automation will have an added advantage
