Job Description
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including purchase order creation, payment coordination, and maintaining accurate purchasing records, inventory data, and documentation systems.
- Coordinate closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to track orders, confirm delivery schedules, and ensure materials meet required specifications and quality standards.
- Support feedstock operations by aligning with planning teams, surveyors, and relevant departments to ensure smooth execution of inspections, shipments, and operational timelines.
- Oversee the preparation, verification, and timely submission of shipping and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and prompt payment processing.
- Lead supplier onboarding and registration processes, including verification and maintenance of contractual, compliance, and due diligence documents such as NDAs.
- Review and manage demurrage claims by validating calculations, coordinating with suppliers, and facilitating timely resolution and settlement.
- Provide operational support on ad-hoc initiatives, process improvement projects, and additional responsibilities assigned by management.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Engineering or a relevant field, with at least 5 years of experience in commercial operations, administrative support, or related functions, ideally within energy, oil and gas, commodities, or trading environments.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess issues, identify solutions, and make sound decisions in a dynamic setting.
- Highly organized and adaptable, with proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining accuracy and performing well under pressure.
- Proactive and self-driven, with a strong sense of accountability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
