The Opportunity
- Adecco is partnering with Public Sector to look for an Assistant Manager (Event Operations, Public Sector).
- This role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale physical and virtual events, ensuring smooth end-to-end operations, strong stakeholder alignment, and seamless on-site and online experiences.
The Talent
- Possesses at least 4 years of experience in large-scale event operations, preferably for APAC conferencesof 1,000+ attendees
- Strong project and ground operations management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Knowledge of virtual events, streaming technologies, and digital engagement tools
- Resourceful, detail-oriented, and able to perform well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Experience working with public sector stakeholders is an advantage
Job Description
- Coordinate event operations and logistics across multiple venues and programme owners
- Establish streamlined workflows to support efficient event preparation and delivery
- Manage ground operations to ensure smooth on-site execution and issue resolution
- Oversee the virtual event experience, including platform setup, content accuracy, and systems coordination
- Work closely with event organisers, venues, and technology vendors to ensure operational readiness
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align timelines, information, and deliverables
- Support project management activities, meetings, documentation, and event administration
- Provide operational support across broader organisational programmes as required
