Assistant Manager - Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical and electrical design teams in developing generator enclosure solutions.
• Manage product lifecycle: concept, prototyping, testing, and release to manufacturing.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and vendors to optimize cost and manufacturability.
• Support pre-sales by developing technical concepts and reviewing engineering proposals.
• Oversee testing and validation (acoustic, vibration, thermal, IP/weatherproof).
• Guide and mentor engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of product design experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks, Creo, or NX) PDM experience preferred.
• Strong background in sheet-metal design, acoustics, thermal management, and structural analysis.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
