Description
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day to day Diesel workshop management for repairs of commercial/ naval vessels
- Ensure engine overhaul processes are carried out effectively and productively in order to meet customer specifications and requirements
- Monitor and guide engineers and technicians to ensure they are strictly compliant to respective engine protocols, Critical Process Inspection (CPI), task sheets and processes stated in Diesel workshop handbook
- To oversee department overall projects to achieve engine delivery deadlines, targets and quality assurance.
- Strictly implement yard safety regulations and promote safety awareness by leading as role model
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering
- Preferably 5-7 years of working experiences in yard or OEMs for diesel engines
- Able to perform troubleshooting on pneumatic, hydraulic, piping and basic electrical system with minimum guidance
- Able to handle mutliple projects for engine repairs and overhauls
- Knowledge on Engine overhauling and applied mechanics
- Familiarity with Engine Warranty, Claims and Job Acceptance related processes
- Able to supervise a team in both workshop and onboard vessels

- 5 days work week
- Working Hours: 7.25am-5pm
