Job Description:
. Review, evaluate, assess, negotiate, and resolve work injury compensation claims in WICA 2019 regime within designated authority limit, in line with established standards, procedures and guidelines provided.
. Identify and investigate suspicious/potential fraudulent WICA claims and take appropriate actions and keep relevant stakeholders closely informed in writing.
. To attend MOM and any work injury related meeting.
. To negotiate settlement with claimants and/or solicitors.
. To provide administrative support to prepare monthly statistics and report.
. To manage telephone enquiries and complaints and attend to walk-in-claimants.
. To provide claims handling service to clients and business partners.
. To be the liaison with any authority as required under the scope.
. Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and policy requirements internally and externally
. Any other jobs assigned by the Company/HOD/Section Manager.
Requirement:
. Well versed with WICA 2019 requirement and timeline
. Minimum Diploma holder.
. Candidate with a minimum of at least 5 years of direct WICA 2019 claims experience with a designated insurer would be preferred.
. The candidate should possess strong negotiation skill, claim management, fraud management, customer service, time management and able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
. Must be able to work independently and as a team.
. Good negotiation skills.
. Certificate in Personal General Insurance and Commercial General insurance is a must.
. Good command of written and verbal English and Chinese (to be able to communicate effectively with English and Chinese speaking associates regarding assigned tasks)
