Assistant Manager (Cybersecurity and Compliance)

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and monitor security policies, procedures and controls to safeguard the company's information systems and data

• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scanning to identify and mitigate potential security threats

• Manage incident response and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to contain, investigate and resolve security incidents

• Ensure the company's compliance with industry regulations, standards and best practices related to data privacy, information security and risk management

• Provide training and guidance to employees on cybersecurity awareness and responsible data handling

• Collaborate with IT teams to design and deploy secure system architectures and infrastructure

• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats and technologies to proactively enhance the company's security posture

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related field

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a cybersecurity or information security role, preferably in the IT and/or financial services industry

• Proven track record in developing and implementing security policies, controls and compliance frameworks

• Strong technical skills in areas such as vulnerability management, incident response, threat intelligence and security monitoring

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Understanding of relevant industry regulations and standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, etc.

• Certification in CISSP, CISM, CRISC or other relevant cybersecurity/compliance credentials is preferred
