Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible to drive profitable growth from set of assigned intermediaries. You will utilize your technical expertise to evaluate risks while simultaneously serving as a key point of contact for intermediaries to develop new business opportunities.
Underwriting & Risk Management
- Risk Assessment: Evaluate, price, and underwrite new and renewal commercial lines business within authorized limits.
- Portfolio Oversight: Manage an assigned portfolio, ensuring profitability and maintaining desired loss ratios through disciplined risk selection and technical excellence.
- Quotations : Prepare quotations, endorsements, and renewals within designated authority limit and within compliance of guidelines
Business Development & Sales
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and strengthen strategic partnerships with intermediaries.
- Market Growth: Execute sales and business development strategies to expand the customer base and achieve recruitment and premium targets.
- Pipeline Development: Identify new agency appointments and proactively find opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling across various lines of business.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years working experience in similar capacity
- Degree in any discipline
- Passed BCP and ComGI
- Ability to multi-task whilst being meticulous and working well unpressured
- Self-disciplined and ability to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to work as a team
