About the Role

Join a team dedicated to driving patient safety, service excellence, and continuous improvement across a large healthcare organisation. This role focuses on leading quality improvement initiatives, strengthening safety systems, and partnering stakeholders to enhance processes, outcomes, and patient care standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage patient safety and quality improvement projects across multiple departments.
  • Partner clinical, operational, and corporate stakeholders to identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate process redesign workshops and guide teams in implementing sustainable improvements.
  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, measurement frameworks, and performance tracking reports.
  • Conduct root cause analysis, incident reviews, and recommend preventive actions.
  • Design and deliver training programmes on quality improvement methodologies and patient safety tools.
  • Support organisation-wide sharing of best practices, innovation projects, and improvement initiatives.
  • Manage internal quality/project portals and encourage staff participation in improvement programmes.
  • Prepare proposals, business cases, and funding submissions for strategic improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct research, benchmarking, environmental scanning, and trend analysis to support future planning.


Requirements

  • Min. Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or Postgraduate/Master's Degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong background in quality improvement, process excellence, project management, or operational transformation.
  • Relevant academic disciplines include Healthcare Management, Public Health, Systems Engineering, Risk Management, Industrial Design, Health Innovation, Data Analytics, or related fields.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent continuous improvement training preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, and statistical tools will be advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for service excellence, continuous improvement, and delivering impactful outcomes.
