Assistant Manager (BIM Digital Engineer)

Our client is an established civil engineering contractor involved in large-scale infrastructure and transport development projects in Singapore. With ongoing project expansion and increasing adoption of digital construction practices, they are seeking an Assistant Manager (BIM Technology & Digitalization) to support BIM implementation and digital engineering initiatives across project teams. They are located in the (North) - easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee BIM implementation for infrastructure and construction projects in accordance with BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and project digital delivery requirements.

• Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models covering civil, structural, architectural, and M&E trades.

• Perform model coordination and clash detection using BIM platforms to identify design conflicts.

• Conduct technical drawing screening and model verification against engineering specifications.

• Implement digital construction workflows including 4D planning and model-based documentation.

• Support integration of M&E trade coordination within BIM environments.

• Maintain BIM templates, object libraries, and project modelling standards.

• Facilitate BIM coordination with consultants, contractors, and project teams through a Common Data Environment (CDE) platform.

• Support temporary works modelling and structural propping arrangements within digital construction models.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or M&E Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of manager in BIM technology or digital engineering experience within construction or infrastructure projects.

• Experience supervising or guiding BIM engineers and modelling teams.

• Hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM coordination tools.

• Must be strong with BIM execution planning, digital construction workflows, and project model coordination.

• Exposure to M&E trade modelling and construction drawing review.

• Experience supporting digitalisation initiatives within A1 main contractor or large infrastructure projects preferred.
