Maintenance
1. Overall in-charge for the maintenance operation and serve as the main contact person of the Client.
2. Manage and oversee overall maintenance related operations and manpower allocation for the maintenance project.
3. Oversee any maintenance contract renewal including maintenance of VO items after Defects Liability Period (DLP) ends, system enhancement and upgrade.
4. Work closely with Project Manager for handover of every completed project to maintenance team before the DLP starts.
5. Coordinate all maintenance requests, supervise work on site, certify work done and attend all meetings with the Client.
6. Ensure all work activities are carried out according to the Service-Level Agreement (SLA) of maintenance contract such as requirements, specifications, maintenance timeline and report submission.
7. Ensure the timely submission of progress reports, monthly report, minutes of the meeting and other relevant documentation as deemed requested by the Client.
8. Allocate manpower and ensure proper implementation of maintenance schedule.
9. Responsible to any covering duties should there is a shortage of manpower to the operation to ensure the smooth flow of operation.
10. Crisis Management. Able to re-assign resources from relevant work scope and deploy effectively when
issue arises.
11. Provide advice, solutions and recommendations to facilitate the smooth flow of the operation.
12. Perform price negotiation with Sub-contractor and supplier when comes to procurement and services.
13. Cost Control Measures. Establish a clear objective on cost control measures when it comes to operations (eg. Labor Cost, Equipment, Subcontractor) in terms of purchases relating to projects, maintenance, research and development works.
14. Responsible to maintain the availability of assets and procurement of equipment and spares.
15. Continually monitor and improve the overall performance of the operation.
16. Conflict Management. Handle problem and conflict resolution within the internal and external parties aiming to minimize negative impact and foster harmonious relationship among team members, clients, business partners and subcontractors
17. Other operational and maintenance duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Business Development
18. Create business opportunities and sales inquiries for company's growth.
19. Managing customer expectations. Build strong relationship with customer to understand their needs and requirement to be able to propose solutions.
20. Responsible for all the necessary document preparation and installation for variation/enhancement orders of existing maintenance contract
Team Management
21. Supervise, manage and motivate maintenance team.
22. Periodically follows up with the management team to ensure area goals are being met and get guidance in the removal of any obstacles that are preventing to hit the team's target. Lead the team to use available resources to manage successful completion of goals.
23. Manpower Planning. Handle staffing requirement and manage staff performance.
24. Guide and train new staff on the maintenance process, procedures, system, requirements for all maintenance sites prior on-the-job training with assigned buddy.
25. Ensure training is provided and work with the training group to assist in development of training materials as required.
26. Assist in conducting training for new technical staff and developing training materials.
27. Competency Management. Keep the team's technical knowledge up to date and propose training
plans for each team member. Ensure that all of the issues are well matched to the capability of the
individuals within the team.
Safety Management
28. Lead, promote, and ensure the team follows safety management system and work procedures.
29. To follow safety work procedure at all times
30. Ensure the achievement of high safety and quality standards for site works.
31. Ensure the project team follow the safety work procedure at all time to maintain safe working environment
32. To follow all company business operation and SOP at all times.
33. Participate actively in Health Safety and Environment programs and activities in order to achieve Company's KPIs, ISO 14001 objectives and target. Proactively rectify any abnormalities, unsafe acts or unsafe situations and report to supervisor accordingly.
34. Maintain high standard of housekeeping at all times
