Job Description

We are representing our client in the marine sector to look an Assistant Manager, AI Enablement. This role leads how AI literacy and capability develop and deliver value across the company. You will design and run the programs that get people using AI well, surface high value use cases from the business, coach citizen developers through their AI builds, and measure how AI is changing the way work gets done. This hybrid role blends program design, change management, and enough technical fluency on generative AI to coach others credibly.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and run programs that develop AI literacy and capability across the organisation, including champions networks, cohort based learning, and structured progression pathways.
  • Build learning pathways and onboarding journeys for different personas, from casual users to advanced practitioners.
  • Facilitate use case discovery workshops with business users and govern the use case portfolio.
  • Coach citizen developers through their AI builds and review workflows before broader promotion, within the company's governance framework.
  • Track AI capability, usage, and value realisation across the organisation, and report findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Curate and share internal success stories to sustain momentum and demonstrate value.
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders across the organisation on responsible AI use and program delivery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6+ years in roles combining business engagement, change management, training, or program delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes for non-technical audiences.
  • Strong written communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience designing or running structured enablement programs such as training cohorts, communities of practice, or certification paths.
  • Hands on experience facilitating discovery workshops with business users.
  • Working knowledge of generative AI tools and a clear understanding of what they can and cannot do.
  • Comfort working in matrixed environments across multiple geographies and cultures.
  • Track record of measuring program effectiveness and using data to refine delivery.
  • Hands on experience with low code or no code AI platforms and prior exposure to citizen developer movements (low code, no code, RPA) or data literacy programs.
  • Experience translating business problems into requirements, success metrics, and acceptance criteria for machine learning, data science, or analytics products.
  • Familiarity with industry maturity frameworks for AI or digital transformation.
  • Survey design and qualitative research skills.
  • Background in adult learning design or organisational development.
  • Experience in shipping, logistics, supply chain, or other operational industries.
