ASSISTANT MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT
Responsibilities:
- Assist in carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems for plant and building facilities.
- Support troubleshooting and rectification of faults in production machines, equipment, and building facilities.
- Perform maintenance tasks, minor repairs, and routine servicing as assigned.
- Assist in plant process troubleshooting and equipment inspections.
- Ensure maintenance works are carried out in accordance with equipment specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with contractors on repair and installation works when required.
- Maintain proper housekeeping of tools, equipment, and maintenance areas.
- Attend to ad-hoc maintenance duties as assigned by the reporting supervisor.
Requirements:
- NITEC/ Higher NITEC / Technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Hands-on experience in electrical wiring, maintenance and repair functions.
- Relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing or plant environment will be an advantage.
