Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for an Assistant Machine Engineer / Technician:
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on process machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Carry out periodical maintenance for process machinery according to schedule.
- Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and assist with breakdown restoration to restore machine functionality and minimize production downtime.
- Support machinery setup activities to ensure readiness and timely commencement of mass production.
- Carry out corrective maintenance tasks in accordance with planned schedules and procedures.
- Initiate, plan, and implement quality improvement and preventive measures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Propose, plan and implement quality preventive and improvement activities.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals and performance targets.
- Explore and develop knowledge of machinery maintenance and create new ideas to improve machine reliability and maintain a safe and conducive working environment.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum qualification with NITEC in the relevant course/field, relevant fields include Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant maintenance experience is preferred.
- Training is provided.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel familiarity with PowerPoint is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Positive and resilient attitude in dynamic and challenging work environments.
- Proactive and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Willing and able to work on a rotating shift schedule, including morning and night shifts.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 2,400 + AWS + VB (1 - 3 Months)
- Working Location: Yishun
- Working Hours: Rotating Shift, including morning and night shifts
