To support the Elevators and Escalators under the Company's maintenance portfolio, there is a SafeNet Centre that monitors real time site activities. This facility enables response to an elevator breakdown in the shortest possible time, it is a remote supervisory system that allows clients greater efficiency and paperless administration.

Job Summary

Support the Service Maintenance team by performing maintenance and technical support on installed lifts and systems, troubleshooting malfunctions, and responding promptly to breakdowns and emergency calls.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and outstanding maintenance tasks on installed elevator and escalator equipment to ensure operational reliability.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions to identify causes and implement effective repairs.
• Resolve technical issues on-site to restore equipment functionality and minimize downtime.
• Respond promptly to call-backs, breakdowns, and emergency maintenance requests to maintain safety and service continuity.
• Collaborate with team members to support ongoing maintenance activities and improve service quality.

Required competencies and certifications

• No colour-blindness to safely perform work tasks.
• Ability to work at heights and in hot, confined spaces.
• Willingness to work on weekends, public holidays, and be on stand-by mode to respond to lift or escalator maintenance needs.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications or Competency

• Nitec in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Those with relevant working experience shall also be considered.
