Job Summary

Support the Service Maintenance team by performing maintenance and technical support on installed lifts and systems, troubleshooting malfunctions, and responding promptly to breakdowns and emergency calls.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and outstanding maintenance tasks on installed elevator and escalator equipment to ensure operational reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions to identify causes and implement effective repairs.
  • Resolve technical issues on-site to restore equipment functionality and minimize downtime.
  • Respond promptly to call-backs, breakdowns, and emergency maintenance requests to maintain safety and service continuity.
  • Collaborate with team members to support ongoing maintenance activities and improve service quality.

Required competencies and certifications

  • No colour-blindness to safely perform work tasks.
  • Ability to work at heights and in hot, confined spaces.
  • Willingness to work on weekends, public holidays, and be on stand-by mode to respond to lift or escalator maintenance needs.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications or Competency

  • Nitec in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Those with relevant working experience shall also be considered.
