Job Description

Main Green is looking for an Assistant Landscape Designer as the range of exciting projects are ever growing.

The Assistant Landscape Designer will be responsible for operational duties including:

  • Maintaining Work Schedules
  • Manpower/Project Planning
  • On-Site Preparation & Planting

You will also be closely involved in each step of the landscape design process, from client brief, concept design, installation and follow ups. You will work with the Creative team to design, source and implement landscape planting in a variety of Residential & Commercial Projects (Hotels, F&B, etc.)

Important traits to have are: good memory, willingness to learn and strong observational skills.

A strong design eye is essential - submit your portfolio and sketchbook for review.

We are looking for a candidate with the best mix of personality and skillsets.

Suitable candidates are early career or individuals looking to switch paths, to work with plants and be outdoors (some of the time). 

This is a Full-time, Hybrid role with a mix of WFH, Office and On-site locations.

Applicants must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.

Responsibilities

  • Operational - Maintain Work Schedules, Manpower/Project Planning
  • Creating Project Proposals (Google Suite, Sheets)
  • Assist at Client Site Visits
  • On-Site Preparation & Planting
  • Supervise Landscape Installation
  • Manage Website / E-Commerce

Qualifications

  • Passion for Plants is a Must
  • Quick Learning Attitude, Adaptable
  • Methodical and Detail Oriented
  • 2D/3D Software Skills (Google Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp)

Bonus Points

  • Experience in Landscape Design or Gardening
  • Background in Art (Drawing, Painting, etc.) - Portfolio Review
