Assistant Lab Manager (Environmental / Chemistry Laboratory)

• Position: Assistant Lab Manager (Environmental / Chemistry Laboratory)
• Location: West (Near Gui Circle MRT)
• Working hours: 5 days, Monday to Friday (8.30am to 6.00pm)
• Salary: Up to $5500 + AWS + Variable Bonus + Dental + Transport + Medical claim
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Environment Laboratory

Main Responsibilities:

• Support daily lab operations and ensure ISO/IEC 17025 compliance
• Supervise environmental testing (water, soil, air, wastewater)
• Review analytical results, QC data, and troubleshoot issues
• Coordinate equipment calibration, maintenance, and validation
• Support staff supervision, training, and workload planning
• Participate in audits, safety compliance, and improvement initiatives
  

Requirement:

• Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science or related field
• 3-5 years of lab experience (environmental testing preferred)
• Familiar with ISO/IEC 17025 and QA/QC practices
• Experience with instruments (ICP, GC/GC-MS, IC, TOC)
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• SAC SINGLAS signatory experience will be an advantage
