Assistant IT Project Manager (Perm)

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver network implementation and remediation projects to meet demands
• Coordinate Engineering Team information and activities with other IT members
• Assess business and application requirements for corporate data and voice networks
• Plan, design, and upgrade network installation projects
• Participate in the development and enforcement of infrastructure standards and policies related to WAN and LAN technologies
• Monitor internal and external compliance with the company's information security policies and procedures
• Identify non-compliant practices and assist with remediation
• Conceive, document, and implement network policies and procedures
• Provide internal consultation, training, and documentation services to applicable parties as required
• Provide status reports to the Manager/Team Leader as required
• Perform Audit task for respective group company
• Perform IT Health check for respective group company
• Perform IT Self-Assessment support for respective group companies
• Support Bank business opportunities and work at Changi area
• Travel as necessary to support security initiatives, systems, incidents, and projects
• Perform other relevant functions and tasks as assigned

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or relevant field
• Have 3-5 years of experience in IT-related work in any field
• Have a comprehensive understanding of system or network infrastructure
• Have above intermediate level Japanese language skills (listening, reading) to deal with Japanese-speaking clients
• Have proven architecture modeling skills and experience in infrastructure design and management
• Have a good understanding of infrastructure architecture standards
• Certification in ITIL and project management will be advantageous
• Have knowledge of networking, data center design, database management, and information security
• Have the ability to work effectively with diverse teams within and outside the Group IT, including multiple third-party vendors
• Be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written mediums with internal and external stakeholders
• Be a self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment
• Have good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Have the ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources
• Have the ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization
• Be dependable and flexible when necessary
• Possess Project Management skills.
