Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Architecture: Design scalable and secure infrastructure blueprints for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments, while enforcing architecture standards.
- Documentation & Planning: Create detailed technical documentation and lead capacity planning and performance tuning to ensure system scalability and high availability.
- Security Frameworks: Design and implement zero-trust security architectures, including network segmentation, IAM, and secrets management.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, and manage third-party vendors for procurement and integration.
- Change & Impact Analysis: Evaluate change requests, assess architectural impacts, and provide expert guidance in technical discussions and customer engagements.
Requirements
- Extensive Technical Experience: Over 5 years in infrastructure roles, including 2+ years delivering large-scale Singapore Government projects.
- Infrastructure & Linux Expertise: Deep knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies (networking, firewalls, virtualization, etc.) and advanced skills in Linux systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, SUSE), especially in secure air-gapped deployments.
- Cloud-Native & Kubernetes Proficiency: Advanced experience with cloud-native stacks, Kubernetes ecosystems (EKS, AKS, GKE, Rancher, OpenShift), container runtimes, and secure secrets management using KMS solutions.
- Cybersecurity & Risk Management: Strong grasp of cybersecurity frameworks, IT risk management, encryption, and security protocols.
- Documentation & Communication: Skilled in producing detailed technical documentation and diagrams.
