Assistant Infant Educarer (English)

Responsibilities:

. Support the Infant Educarer in implementing developmentally appropriate programmes and routines for infants aged 2-18months

. Assist in the preparation and use of age‑appropriate learning and caregiving materials

. Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment in accordance with centre safety and hygiene standards

. Observe infants cues and behaviours and share observations to support caregiving and documentation

. Provide warm, responsive, and respectful interactions to support infants well‑being

. Build positive relationships with infants, parents, and colleagues through professional conduct

. Follow centre policies, procedures, and ECDA guidelines, and carry out assigned duties to support daily operations

Requirements:

. Minimum N Level qualification (Programme Helper), WSQ Advanced Certificate in Infant Care, or other ECDA recognised infant care qualification

. Relevant experience in an infant care or early childhood setting is preferred but not mandatory

. Passionate, patient, and nurturing towards infants

. Good interpersonal and communication skills

. Able to work well collaboratively as part of a team

. Willing to learn and follow guidance from the Infant Educarer and team
