The Warehouse Assistant supports daily warehouse, logistics, and materials handling activities within an aerospace operational environment. This role ensures efficient movement, storage, and delivery of parts and materials while maintaining safety and operational standards. A Class 3 Driving License is mandatory.
Receive incoming materials, parts, and consumables.
Verify quantities and basic documentation (delivery orders, pack lists).
Report any delivery discrepancies to the supervisor.
Label, store, and organize items in designated warehouse locations.
Maintain accurate stock levels through timely system updates.
Assist with routine cycle counts and stock checks.
Pick, pack, and issue materials for production, assembly, or engineering teams.
Prepare kits or material sets according to job requirements.
Support movement of materials between work areas and storage zones.
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks forklift operation preferred but not mandatory.
Drive company vehicles for internal and external logistics tasks (Class 3 license mandatory).
Keep warehouse areas neat, organized, and free of hazards (FOD awareness).
Perform data entry for receiving, issuing, and transferring materials.
Maintain accurate records in ERP/WMS platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Ensure proper labeling and handling for stored and transported items.
Valid Class 3 Driving License.
Secondary education or equivalent.
1-3 years of warehouse or logistics experience (aerospace experience an advantage).
Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP/WMS familiarity).
Strong attention to detail and good organizational ability.
Forklift license/certification.
IATA DGR certification (useful for handling or shipping hazardous materials).
Experience with aerospace parts/materials handling.
Familiarity with kitting, tool handling, or parts storage environments.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Physically fit for lifting and warehouse work.
Team player with good communication skills.
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
