The Assistant HR Manager (Shared Services) leads a team to deliver HR excellence across multiple brands. This role focuses on employee relations, performance management, compliance, leave and insurance administration, and HR projects. The Assistant HR Manager ensures HR policies are consistently applied while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Team Leadership
Supervise and mentor HR Executives/Coordinators.
Allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and build team capability.
Employee Relations
Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR policies and workplace matters.
Support resolution of grievances and disciplinary cases in line with company values and legal requirements.
Performance Management
Drive performance appraisal cycles and feedback processes across brands.
Partner with managers to identify development needs and support career progression.
Learning & Development
Coordinate training programs and workshops to enhance employee skills.
Track training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Leave Management
Oversee administration of annual leave, medical leave, and other statutory leave types.
Ensure compliance with MOM regulations and internal policies.
Insurance & WICA
Manage employee insurance coverage, claims, and renewals.
Administer Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA) processes, ensuring timely reporting and compliance.
Compliance & Policy
Ensure HR practices comply with Singapore employment laws and MOM regulations.
Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
Shared Services Projects
Lead HR process improvement initiatives across the Group.
Support HR digitalization, system enhancements, and cross-brand HR projects.
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
5-7 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws, WICA, and insurance administration.
Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
