Job Description

Overview
Reporting to the HR Director, you will be responsible for the execution and management of compensation policies and programmes to support the organisation's overall human resource strategies. You will ensure that all procedures are implemented in accordance with cluster HR and organisational policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, monitor and review compensation and benefits programmes within assigned areas to ensure external competitiveness, internal equity, harmonious employee relations, and cost effectiveness.

  • Participate in annual public sector market surveys and analyse both market and internal compensation data to support benchmarking and decision-making.

  • Develop and execute communication strategies to effectively convey the organisation's compensation philosophy, policies, and programmes.

  • Oversee the implementation and administration of compensation matters within approved budgets for assigned areas.

  • Work closely with the HR Director to anticipate challenges and provide practical and sustainable compensation solutions to support talent attraction and retention.

  • Review, recommend and implement compensation policies and procedures aligned with organisational values, strategies, and cluster HR guidelines.

  • Assess and propose updates to compensation policies to ensure continued relevance and market competitiveness.

  • Drive process improvements and innovation in compensation-related workflows, including identifying opportunities for system enhancements and automation to improve operational efficiency.

  • Partner with the HR Director to lead, coach and guide HR team members, fostering a high-performing team and promoting staff engagement.

  • Support additional HR initiatives, projects, or duties as assigned by the HR Director.

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Compensation & Benefits or HR rewards management.

  • Experience in healthcare, public sector, or large complex organisations will be advantageous.

  • Knowledge of change management methodologies will be an added advantage.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret compensation data and translate insights into practical HR solutions.
