EnGro is a leading slag-cement producer in Singapore. Since 2005, the Group has strengthened the supply-chain by leveraging on its GGBS joint venture production base in China coupled with its Pulau Damar Laut bulk-terminal cum logistics services undertaken by Top-Mix ready-mix concrete operations.
The extended supply chain allows EnGro to meet stringent requirement for specialty cement and high-performance concrete supply. With this integration, EnGro is able undertake supply of voluminous quantity timely to prestigious mega projects.
EnGro is well positioned to capture the current building boom, which is expected to last till 2010 and beyond once the Singapore Government's pump prime kicks in. EnGro has built 2 core businesses, namely the specialty cement and the specialty polymer.
Operationally, it is driven by 2 growth engines supplemented by evergreen venture capital (VC) investment activity in technology-driven businesses.
Roles Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Support end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, and offboarding processes
- Coordinate interview scheduling, prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and HR documentation
- Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR databases in compliance with PDPA requirements
- Assist in monthly payroll preparation, including attendance tracking, leave records, overtime, and claims
- Liaise with payroll vendors and ensure statutory submissions (CPF, IRAS, MOM) are accurate and timely
- Administer employee benefits, medical claims, insurance matters, and staff welfare activities
- Support performance appraisal exercises and training coordination
- Assist in the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures
- Handle general employee HR queries and provide administrative HR support
Administration
- Provide day-to-day administrative support including office supplies management, vendor coordination, and facility matters
- Manage office records, contracts, and filing systems (physical and electronic)
- Coordinate company events, meetings, and staff activities when required
- Assist with admin-related procurement and invoice tracking
- Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation
- Ensure proper segregation and confidentiality of HR and Admin data
Compliance & Governance
- Support compliance with internal controls, company policies, and SGX corporate governance requirements
- Assist in maintaining proper documentation for audits and regulatory reviews
- Work closely with HR Manager and other departments to ensure smooth HR & Admin operations
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline
- At least 1–3 years of relevant HR & Admin experience, in manufacturing is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Singapore employment laws and statutory requirements
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); HR systems experience is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Immediate availability or short notice period is a strong advantage
