1. Menu Support & R&D Assistance
Assist in the development and refinement of menu items, including seasonal and special offerings.
Support preparation, testing, and execution of new dishes under guidance from Head Chef/Management.
Participate in tastings and provide feedback when required.
Help ensure consistency and quality of food in line with company standards.
2. Kitchen Operations Support
Assist in daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
Support kitchen workflow, including mise en place, station setup, and cleanliness.
Provide hands-on support during peak periods and service hours.
3. Service & Team Support
Support kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
Assist in resolving minor operational issues during service.
Maintain food quality and timely service delivery.
4. Procurement & Inventory Support
Assist with stock checks, inventory management, and ordering of ingredients.
Support coordination with suppliers as required.
Help minimise wastage and ensure proper stock handling.
5. Cost & Operations Support
Assist in basic costing and portion control under guidance.
Support implementation of cost-control measures in daily operations.
6. Training & Documentation
Assist in maintaining SOPs, recipes, and kitchen records.
Support onboarding and basic training of junior kitchen staff when required.
7. Team Collaboration
Work closely with Head Chef and team members to ensure alignment in kitchen operations.
Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement when appropriate.
8. General Duties
Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Management.
Provide support across kitchen operations as needed.
