Ugene Lab (www.ugenelab.com) is Singapore's leading food testing laboratory, established in 1997 and acquired by CTI Group in July 2026. We offer a comprehensive range of microbiological and chemical testing, rapid testing, hygiene monitoring, and specialized analytical services, with unique advantages in rapid microbial detection and robotic automated sample preparation systems.
Based in Singapore and reporting to the GM, the Assistant serves as the key liaison between HQ and the Singapore team, driving post-merger integration, daily operations, ASEAN market expansion, and strategic decision support to ensure post-acquisition business success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Post-Merger Integration Management
. Assist the GM in developing and executing the PMI roadmap, aligning management systems, processes, and culture between HQ and the Singapore team to ensure a smooth transition.
2. Operational Management Support
. Support the GM in overseeing daily operations, including performance management, cross-team coordination, process optimization, and meeting follow-ups to ensure efficient business continuity.
3. Market Expansion Coordination
. Coordinate internal and external market resources to support the GM in developing customer relationships across the Southeast Asian region, driving the execution of cross-border testing services and business growth.
4. Decision Support & Special Assignments
. Conduct business data analysis, track post-investment performance, prepare key documents and reports, and execute various special projects and tasks assigned by the GM.
Qualifications
. Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Business Administration or Food Science/Testing related fields.
. 5+ years of experience in GM assistance, operations management, or cross-border project management.
. Familiar with operations management PMI experience preferred. TIC industry knowledge is a plus.
. Excellent bilingual (English & Chinese) communication and written skills effective in cross-cultural settings.
. Strong coordination, multitasking, and problem-solving skills with high resilience willing to travel frequently between Singapore and China.
. High professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment in handling confidential matters.
