Claudine is a French neo-brasserie by Chef Julien Royer, located on Dempsey Hill. Claudine presents an intimate side of French cuisine and genuine hospitality, inspired by the joys of home.

As Assistant General Manager, you will support the General Manager in identifying business opportunities and have direct ownership of the business impact and outcomes. As a leader, you will also be in a position to have a lasting impact on people: through shaping the guest experience and nurturing your team.

You'll be in charge of:

General Management

• Drive the overall operational and business performance
• Work with the General Manager to develop goals (commercial and non-commercial) for the venue with clear Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
• Lead the teams to achieve the OKRs set out for the venue
• Set and communicate clear operating standards
• Ensure that the teams execute based on these operating standards
• Ensures team alignment with the venue's and group's mission and values
• Ensure quality, operating, and hygiene standards are met
• Monitor venue adherence to all licensing laws regarding the service of food and beverage, public and employee safety while in compliance with local food safety standards

Talent & Financial Management

• Conceptualizing staff development plans according to the needs of the business
• Implementing training strategies for the venue with the support of the Talent Team
• Work with the Talent Team regarding employee movements and performance feedback
