This is an Assistant Financial Controller position with an Engineering and Technology MNC, regional headquarters based in Singapore. For business continuity purposes, the business is seeking for the individual to oversee full spectrum accounting and reporting activities for selected APAC entities, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and internal group policies.

Description
- Supervise and manage full spectrum accounting activities to ensure compliance with IFRS and group policies
- Coordinate annual external audits and reviews of financial statements
- Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of intercompany transactions
- Oversee regular account analysis and proper application of POC accounting on ongoing projects
- Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly financial and consolidated reports
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis activities across APAC entities
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis, policy recommendations and support automation initiatives
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related fields, with at least 8 years of finance experience
- Industry experience across B2B sectors such as industrial or engineering sectors, exposure to POC accounting, milestone revenue and cost recognition
- Ability to work independently, comfortable operating as an individual contributor in a lean environment
- Hands-on, proactive and meticulous, with a strong drive to introduce and strengthen internal controls
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability and results orientation
- Strong business partnering skills with the ability to work within a matrix reporting structure - reporting to Managing Director and Finance Head
