We are seeking a proactive Assistant Finance Manager to support the Head of Finance in managing all aspects of financial operations in Singapore, with a focus on supporting Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan and Vietnam, as well as broader regional finance operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and process optimization while providing strategic insights to drive business performance. The Assistant Finance Manager will act as a key support member to the Head of Finance, assisting in financial planning, analysis, and execution of initiatives that align with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full spectrum of financial management across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Taiwan operations.
- Support the Head of Finance in maintaining compliance with financial reporting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with auditors to ensure proper compliance and facilitate audits.
- Support finance requirements across Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Taiwan where applicable, including financial reporting, statutory reporting, tax compliance and audit support.
- Work closely with the Head of Finance to provide financial insights and recommendations for business initiatives.
- Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to support business performance, decision-making and financial objectives across Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan and broader APAC operations.
- Build strong relationships across business units to align financial goals with organizational objectives.
- Oversee intercompany accounting, and group‑level adjustments across APAC regional entities
- Handle multi-currency transactions and reporting across SGD, MYR, USD, RMB, and THB.
- Support new market entry through financial/regulatory research and setup planning.
- Manage all tax-related matters, including GST/VAT, Withholding Tax, and Corporate Income Tax filings.
- Ensure all statutory filings are completed accurately and within deadlines.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline is preferred.
