Assistant Finance Manager (Oil & Gas MNC) - West - WCDT

Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Oversight: Direct the full range of finance and accounting functions, including strategic budgeting, forecasting, and comprehensive financial reporting.

Performance & Growth Driving: Formulate and execute financial strategies and cost-control initiatives to meet performance targets and facilitate business expansion.

Regulatory Compliance: Spearhead the preparation of timely financial statements in strict accordance with IFRS and local statutory standards.

Treasury & Cash Management: Optimize cash flow and treasury operations, including intercompany settlements and funding strategies.

Financial Analysis & KPIs: Lead the annual budget cycle and variance analysis while monitoring key financial indicators to drive operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Liaison: Manage primary relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, and tax authorities (IRAS) to ensure seamless statutory compliance.

Governance & Internal Controls: Uphold organizational integrity by maintaining robust internal controls and ensuring adherence to the Singapore Companies Act and ACRA requirements.

Board & Statutory Support: Facilitate executive decision-making through high-level management reporting, Board paper preparation, and statutory filing management.

Requirements:
Qualifications: Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business CA/CPA/ACCA membership preferred.

Experience: 8-12 years in finance, with at least 3 years spent leading a team or department.

Knowledge Base: Well-versed in Singapore's regulatory landscape, specifically ACRA, IRAS, and local Companies Act compliance.

Tech Stack: Expert user of ERP (SAP/Oracle) and data analytics software (Power BI/Excel).

Soft Skills: Strong communicator and strategic thinker with a high standard of ethics and detail-orientation.
