Group Consolidation and Financial Reporting: Prepare consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the Singapore Group in accordance with Financial Reporting Standards in Singapore (SFRS) and regulatory requirements. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of consolidated financial data, including eliminations and adjustments. Prepare and review financial disclosures for statutory reporting and internal management purposes.
Intercompany Transactions and Reconciliations: Manage and review monthly intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations to ensure compliance with Group policies. Proactively resolve discrepancies in intercompany balances and communicate with relevant stakeholders.
Audit and Compliance: Handle statutory audits, including the preparation of schedules, responding to auditors queries, and ensuring compliance with audit requirements. Act as the point of contact for external auditors on consolidation-related matters.
Group Policies and Standards: Ensure consistency in the application of accounting standards and policies across subsidiaries.
Process Improvement and Efficiency: Identify areas for improvement in the consolidation and reporting process and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Automate and streamline consolidation processes where feasible.
Ad-Hoc Projects: Participate in projects such as system upgrades, acquisition integrations, and other finance transformation initiatives impacting consolidation. Support other ad-hoc tasks as required by management.
Requirements:
Educational Qualifications: Degree in Accountancy or equivalent, with a recognized professional qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA).
Work Experience:-5 years of relevant experience in Group consolidation and reporting. Candidates with prior experience in audit firms are highly encouraged to apply.
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of SFRS and consolidation principles.
