Job Description

Summary of Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating finance and treasury related initiatives across the outsourced service provider and business departments. You will represent the finance team in cross-functional projects-overseeing financial analysis, planning, reporting and financing to ensure alignment with strategic priorities. You will also oversee internal controls, helps streamline processes for greater efficiency and ensure compliance with reporting, audit and tax requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Manage outsourced service provider to ensure that accounting and closing activities are completed on a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting in accordance with the accounting standards.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to maintain financial discipline.
  • Ensure compliance with tax, audit, internal controls and corporate policies; and
  • Coordinate with external or internal auditors, tax agents and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Lead and coordinate with operational teams to prepare forecasts and budgets; and
  • Ongoing monitoring of actual expenditures against approved budget for reporting to senior management.
  • Monitor cash position and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
  • Bank loan management including loan rollovers, drawdown and repayments.
  • Work closely with project team to understand project assumptions for project financing requirements.
  • Review and approve payment transactions in accordance with policies and internal controls.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automations and support various ad- hoc projects as needed.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, ACCA or related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a finance, accounting and project management
  • Strong working knowledge of financial reporting and internal controls
  • Able to work in fast-paced and/or dynamic startup environment
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • A team player, mature and driven individual with high initiative, independence, analytical, resourcefulness, and tenacity to follow through
  • Competent in MS office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
