Job Overview
As an Assistant Finance Manager/Finance Manager, you will play acritical role in overseeing financial operations within our organization. You'll be responsible for managing financial planning, analysis, reporting, and compliance. Your expertise will contribute to strategic decision-making and ensure the financial health of the company.
Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and execute financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements that include Singapore as HQ, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, HK, Taiwan and Korea entities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Present financial reports to stakeholders and provide explanations as needed.
Budget Management:
- Monitor budget performance, track variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with department heads to align spending with organizational goals.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives.
Cash Flow Management:
- Optimize cash flow by managing receivables, payables, and working capital.
- Forecast cash needs and maintain liquidity.
- Evaluate financing options and negotiate terms with banks or lenders.
Risk Management:
- Identify financial risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor market trends, interest rates, and currency fluctuations.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Provide guidance on complex financial matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA are advantageous.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in finance, accounting, or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
