Job Purpose:
Finance business partners are accountants who work closely with a particular business unit creating a real and active
partnership with both operations and management. Their role is to provide real time support and analysis, to be a
trusted adviser and to add value that will assist in decision making.
Job Descriptions:
- Month-End Close Activities: Handle all aspects of the month-end close, including reviewing
the financial statement
- Maintain Full Set of Accounts: Oversee all journal entries, revenues, and expenses to ensure
- accuracy and completeness.
- Daily Accounting Tasks: Oversee daily operations of AR, AP, GL, bank reconciliations, intercompany
- recharges/reconciliations
- Collaboration between the finance department and
- various business units or departments within an organisation to drive finance policies, SOPs and
- compliance for new initiatives or changes to processes for existing business
- Prepare and provide financial analysis and reports to business unit management
Job Qualifications:
- Degree in Accountancy (or equivalent), with at least 3 years of relevant working
- experience in a large organization and/or across multiple finance operations roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with tools such as Power
- Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI. Experience with SAP is a must
- Self-driven, comfortable with ambiguity, and a resourceful team player with a handson
- approach to problem-solving
- Strong business-partnering skills, a collaborative mindset, and excellent interpersonal
- skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Highly responsible, detail-oriented, analytical, self-motivated, and well-organized
- A positive can-do attitude, with the ability to multitask, adapt to a fast-paced
