Assistant / Field Service Engineer

The primary responsibility within the company's service is to execute all technical and service tasks while adhering to professional and safety standards. This role entails providing support and fostering positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, with the aim of delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Job Description:

The essential tasks of Assistant / Field Service Engineer consist of, but are not limited to the following:

Support start-up, contract maintenance and general service operations, ensuring strong focus on safety and protection.

Carry out preventive maintenance, corrective works, logging tasks and warranty repairs.

Handle servicing and repairs of gas detectors, respond to emergencies, breakdowns and ad hoc service requests.

Coordinate order fulfilment efficiently by working closely with the Service team.

Liaise with customers, supervisors, coordinators and logistics on technical queries, job status and deliveries.

Maintain optimal turnaround time and response efficiency for equipment servicing and breakdowns.

Provide support for additional service-related tasks when required.

Communicate technical information clearly to internal and external stakeholders

Participate in Workplace Safety & Health duties as assigned by the company.

Requirements:

• Minimum an NTC-2 or Electrical/Electronic/Process Instrumentation / Mechatronics Engineering with relevant experience
• Preferably 1-3 years experience in service/engineering position in Oil & Gas / Process industry.
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Willing to perform weekend or irregular-hours work when necessary.
• Able to work at heights and in confined spaces as required.
