Assistant Facilities Manager

The Role
We are looking for a proactive and experienced leader to support the Head of Facilities Management in ensuring a safe, reliable, and efficient hospital environment. In this high-impact role, you'll oversee engineering operations, infrastructure upgrades, and preventive maintenance while driving energy efficiency and cost optimization.

What You'll Do

• Keep all building systems, equipment, and facilities running at peak performance.

• Lead capital projects, upgrades, and vendor management.

• Drive energy-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies.

• Mentor and develop a high-performing FM team.

• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.

• Collaborate with clinical teams, management, and external partners.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering preferred, or 10+ years in hospital or critical-infrastructure FM.

• 5+ years managing hospital facilities or similar high-stakes environments.

• Strong project, team, and vendor management skills.

• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and capital planning.

• Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented.
