We are seeking a proactive Assistant Facilities Manager to contribute towards overseeing aspects of our school's facilities operations using the Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) model. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing various facility services to ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable learning environment for students and staff.
What this job involves:
Commitment to Facility Operations Excellence :
- Support the implementation of Ethics, HSE / Safety & Security programs for site vendor partners
- Assist in managing daily operations and resolving issues
- Assist in compliance with client, and internal policies
- Managing the internal financial tracking process, including work orders on Corrigo platform
Soft Services Expertise :
- Support regular ground inspections and ensuring services are delivered as expected
- Identify areas for improvement on the ground in areas such as cleaning, security, landscape, pest control
Performance Excellence :
- Support efforts to meet all service level agreements & key performance indicators in the management contract
- Contribute to engineering service delivery standards
- Assist in planning, implementing, and reviewing site-specific processes and protocols
- Help develop tools to measure the vendor team's performance
- Assist with the development of facilities management strategies aligned with the school's objectives
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Conduct vendor review meetings to discuss operational priorities, including site-team feedback, training plan updates and
attrition management.
Stakeholder Communication :
- Serve as the main point of contact for soft services facilities-related issues
- Regularly communicate with school administration, staff on facilities matters
- Conduct frequent pulse checks among stakeholders to gather feedback on facilities matters
- Assist with preparation and presentation of reports on facilities performance and initiatives
