As an Operations Logistics Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the Singapore Prison Service's logistics operations by managing procurement, warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics administration. You will ensure essential supplies are procured, stored, and distributed efficiently to support daily operations across SPS while maintaining compliance with procurement, financial, and security requirements.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including processing Purchase Requests (PRs), sourcing vendors, preparing procurement documents, and administering contracts for warehouse and canteen operations.

    - Coordinate warehouse operations by monitoring inventory levels, replenishing stock, and ensuring the timely distribution of inmate requisites, inmate attire, canteen supplies, and other operational items.

    - Process logistics and financial transactions through the Integrated Logistics Management System (iLMS), including Goods Receipts (GR), invoice certifications, procurement tracking, and inventory reporting.

    - Work closely with vendors, contractors, prison institutions, and headquarters divisions to coordinate deliveries, resolve operational issues, and ensure smooth logistics support.

    - Administer contractor access by processing security clearances and permanent pass applications, ensuring all logistics activities comply with SPS security and operational procedures.

    - Maintain accurate records and identify opportunities to improve procurement, inventory, and warehouse processes to enhance operational efficiency.

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

    - Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

    - Meticulous, responsible, and able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

    - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

    - Experience in procurement, warehouse, supply chain, or logistics operations will be an advantage.

    - Familiarity with the Integrated Logistics Management System (iLMS) for procurement, inventory, and warehouse management processes will be an added advantage.
