[What the role is]
You will work at Tuas South Incineration Plant as Assistant Engineering Executive to ensure the safe and effective operation and maintenance of the mechanical equipment and systems in the plant.
[What you will be working on]
You Will Be Responsible For The Following
- To carry out daily maintenance of the assigned plant equipment
- To ensure that daily job card and overhaul programmes are implemented
- To attend to unscheduled outages of plant equipment
- To carry out overhaul work as assigned by Engineers or Engineering Managers.
- To carry out scheduled preventive maintenance
- To carry out inspection of equipment after completion of work
- To undertake projects assigned by Engineers / Engineering managers to improve the reliability, effectiveness and efficiency of the Plant's equipment and process.
- To ensure all works are carried out in compliance with the relevant statutory safety requirements
[What we are looking for]
- At least a NITEC or Higher in Mechanical Engineering
- Must be computer literate
- Ability to work independently
- A good team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Organised and able to multi-task
- Mature, independent and resourceful
- Highly self-motivated
- Able and willing to work on weekends/public holidays and after office hours
