Assist engineers in project coordination including site surveys, tender documentation, and progress payment preparation.
Monitor and inspect ongoing electrical, mechanical, and sanitary works (e.g., electrical rewiring, water pumps, fire protection systems, water pipes and tanks).
Liaise with contractors and clients to ensure successful handover and takeover of switch rooms, MSBs, and M&E installations.
Detect and troubleshoot faults or defects during project execution or client inspections.
Ensure projects are executed according to plans and completed on schedule.
Prepare simple electrical single-line diagrams and interpret technical specifications.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the engineering team.
Requirements
Recognized Diploma or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (NiTEC holders with at least 2 years of relevant experience may be considered).
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience preferred. Entry-level candidates with relevant qualifications are also welcome to apply.
Knowledge in basic electrical and computer software applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel).
Familiarity with Code of Practice SS638 and ability to interpret electrical single-line diagrams is an advantage.
Knowledge and troubleshooting skills in M&E and fire protection systems will be advantageous.
Strong initiative, self-discipline, and ability to work independently.
