Job Summary
You will lead site coordination and drive the development and implementation of IoT applications, robotics, building automation, industrial automation, and process control solutions. You will contribute to project planning, programming, testing, commissioning, and maintenance to ensure seamless system integration and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate site activities to ensure timely and efficient implementation of automation and control systems
- Develop and implement IoT applications, robotic systems, building automation, industrial automation, and process control applications to meet client requirements
- Plan and execute electrical, control, instrumentation, and sensor integration for projects
- Program automation systems and conduct thorough testing and commissioning to guarantee system functionality and reliability
- Provide ongoing service, maintenance, documentation, and training to support system performance and client satisfaction
- Deliver ad-hoc engineering support to resolve technical issues and optimize system operations
- Adapt to a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Participate in standby duties and work outside regular hours, including weekends and public holidays, to support project needs
Required competencies and certifications
- Relevant graduate diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computing, or Mechatronic)
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience applying engineering best practices in process automation, robotics, service, and maintenance
- Hands-on experience implementing and supporting automation systems
- Proficient in programming automation systems and coordinating site activities
- Knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience using AutoCAD or equivalent software for technical drawings
- Strong analytical thinking to diagnose and resolve technical challenges
- Effective communication skills for clear written and verbal interactions with team members and clients
- Ability to collaborate productively within a team environment, providing constructive input and feedback
- Demonstrated proactivity and independence in managing tasks within a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
